Myrtleford Cotters Market

We plant We grow We harvest

About our Market.
A “Cott” is an old Scottish word for a smallholding type of farm. The “Cotter” was the farmer and they made their living by selling a variety of goods they and their household produced at the local market.

This is the thought behind our market. Not a farmers market, not an artisans market but a unique combination of the spirit of both.

We are located in the picturesque Jubilee Park on the Great Alpine Road in Myrtleford. Because of the picturesque nature of our park we have some level sites, some shady sites but very few level, shady sites! Stall holders will be allocated the most appropriate site available on any given day with preferential treatment given to regular stall holders.

Dates have been chosen carefully to hopefully maximise passing traffic. We also have a (limited) advertising budget that we try to spend wisely. We ask our stall holders assist in promoting our markets.
The Cotters Market stallholder Registration Form is available from the Myrtleford Visitor Information Centre and the Myrtleford Neighbourhood Centre, or it can be saved to your computer.
